Locale Savannah Welcomes Ron Melander

Hello,
My name is Ron Melander and welcome to my first blog for Locale.com, one of Savannah’s best Internet based sources for buying and selling Real Estate! I am an associate with Cora Bett Thomas Realty and I hope to engage you with insightful insider views of Historic Downtown Savannah’s Real Estate Market. By the way, there are actually 8 historic districts in downtown Savannah including the first, the highly desirable Landmark Historic District, established in 1966 upon the inception of The National Register of Historic Places. This cool map designed by Savannah’s very own Sotile and Sotile Urban Design shows you where all the districts are located. I aim to provide you with interesting links, relevant free file downloads like CMAs (Comparative Market Analysis’), and a personable evoca voice from someone who moved to Savannah in 1990 from upstate New York (via a wonderful one year stay in Charlottesville, Virginia). I love Savannah and I hope it shows!

Did you ‘photoshop out’ something in the middle of the square. Looks like two ’stumps’ in the middle of the square. Strange.
Oh, wait a minute: is the ‘cheat’ that it’s NOT in Savannah?
Looks way different than any square in Savannah…
The dirt pathways, the benches, the guy leaf-blowing in a uniform, the cars, the skyscrapers…
Where then? Europe? I'd say somewhere in France.
Am I close?
Oh, and I cheated too: A co-worker, Kevin, who lives downtown helped me.

This question was answered directly while the Savannah Real Estate Blog site was undergoing renovations. The answer to the question about where this square is from …. drum roll … is Buenos Aires, Argentina! and all of the squares there are paved with stained concrete or brick. Very Nice indeed!!
